HSBC sponsors Hospis Malaysia 5th Charity Treasure Hunt 2006.   10 March 2006 HSBC is the Title sponsor for the Hospis Malaysia 5th Charity Treasure Hunt with its theme "Miles & Miles of Caring", April 22 to 23, from KL to Cameron Highlands. This is the third year running that HSBC is supporting Hospis Malaysia in their charity hunt. Mr. Richard Lee, Managing Director, Business Development presented the Bank's sponsorship cheque for RM40,000.00 to Mr. Peter Loh, Vice President Hospis Malaysia at the media launch held on 09 March, at Hospis Malaysia. "HSBC is pleased to be able to support Hospis Malaysia in their mission to continue to provide palliative care to patients suffering from life-threatening illnesses, while offering the best quality of life for these patients and their families," said Lee. "The Bank's sponsorship for three consecutive years is a reflection of its commitment towards Hospis Malaysia's fundraising efforts. The charity hunt is also a great opportunity for everyone to have an excellent time while contributing to a worthy cause," Lee added. Also present at the launch was Elizabeth Wee, Head Group Public Affairs. The event is expected to attract 300 participants
