HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad showed its fullest support towards wildlife Conservation by organizing an Educational Trip to Zoo Negara for four selected schools in the Klang valley. Over 80 students were selected to go through a series of interactive sessions on Malaysian Wildlife to increase their awareness on the importance of Conservation, conducted by Zoo Negara Education Officers.

The highlight of the day was the "Zoo Hunt". Students were divided into groups and had an enjoyable time strolling around the zoo accompanied by their teachers and HSBC volunteers while finding the clues for the questions.

Executive Director & Deputy CEO Mr Ian Ogilvie presented a cheque for RM162,000 for renewal of the banks' wildlife sponsorship and also flagged off the zoo hunt.

"HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad is very supportive towards Zoo Negara's efforts in creating awareness on conservation through education," said Mr Ogilvie.

Students from SK Bangsar (Pantai Baru) emerged the champions. The other participating schools were SJK (T) Appar , SK (L) Methodist, (Sentul) and SJK (T) Bangsar.
